VIRULENT WINDS Flying advanced MiG-41s from a forgotten airfield a covert strike team of hotshot US and Russian pilots wreak havoc throughout the Middle East. With Islamic unity broken and the region gearing up for war, the Russians have one last surprise, a stolen SS-20 nuclear warhead in Sandori hands. October was a busy month. I’ve been promoting VIRULENT WINDS across the Midwest. In early October I visited my hometown of Festus, Missouri and had a book signing at the local library. I was overwhelmed by the support I got from the local community. The local newspaper, The Democrat Journal, interviewed me and wrote a gracious article. The local radio station KJFF had me live on air for a twenty minute interview which the replayed several times that same week. Finally the St Louis Post Dispatch showed up at my signing for an interview and photograph. Aside from the great media exposure I was touched by the faces from my youth who came to my signing and wished me well. I had everyone from my 3rd Grade teacher to my college Physics instructor stop in to visit and buy a book.

On November 15th I will be appearing at Borders Books in Davenport, Iowa. This signing will have a new twist with it. Aside from just sitting there signing books I will be giving a 30 minute presentation on the “Dangers of Weapons of Mass Destruction”. Since VIRULENT WINDS deals with covert, but definitely pre-emptive, measures to stop Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction I thought this would be a nice way to promote the book and increase public awareness of WMDs.

January 17th I will be at Barnes and Noble in Green Bay, WI for a similar presentation to one of their Reader Discussion Groups.

VIRULENT WINDS The Middle East is uniting under Islamic Jihad and former enemies, Sandor and Kumar, are waging a war of terrorism against both Russia and America.
